How many
containers should I order?
In general, each 8x8x16 container may
accommodate 3-4 rooms. Larger households
will require multiple containers. As every household is
different, the customer is responsible for assessing the
storage unit capacity for their belongings. Unit sizes are
approximate.
How fast can I get a
mobile storage
unit?
You can often get a
the next day depending on availability. Our schedules can fill
up quickly. We recommend that you order or schedule your
container as soon as possible.
I live in a rural
area, can I
still get a
?
Currently our boundaries include Vernon, Kelowna, Westbank, Penticton,
Kamloops, and surrounding areas delivery

How much clearance do I need to place a
mobile storage unit at my
location?
In order to place a
mobile storage unit on your property we need a clearance of 12 feet in width and 15
feet in height with no steep inclines, low branches or wires.
Are there any restrictions for using
mobile storage units?

There
may be neighborhood or city regulations that affect the use of
portable containers. Street placement of units vary by location.
Check with your local zoning officials or home-owner's association.
Do I have to be
there when the
mobile storage
unit is
dropped off or picked up?
No, although we recommend that someone be present whenever
possible, the customer will be responsible for ensuring that
payment has been made and a lease has been signed prior to
drop-off.
Adequate clearance and accessibility as well as a
detailed description for the desired location will also need to
be in place before drop-off.
Do you sell moving
supplies?
Yes, we sell
moving supplies. We carry many bulk items in order to pass
those savings on to the customer. We can deliver your packing
supplies right to your home in your
mobile storage unit.
Do you supply the lock?
It is your responsibility to purchase the lock
for your container. We sell locks and can deliver it to
you with your mobile storage unit.
How long do I have to load or unload the
mobile storage unit?
Unless there is a specific regulation that defines the amount of
time a storage unit may be placed at your location, you may keep it
for as long as you need.
What CANNOT
be stored in my
mobile storage unit?
The storage of any
Hazardous Goods, such as, poisonous, flammable, corrosive, or
explosive items including propane tanks or gas cans is prohibited.
The storage of food or food related products are also not permitted.
What if
the mobile storage unit is not completely full?

designed to allow for partial household loads. Whether your
storage unit is full or not you need to be conscientious while
packing that you are making full use of the tie down rings
within the unit to secure your belongings during transport.
Are the
mobile storage units
stored in a heated facility?
Yes, the
containers are stored in our heated
facility.
What if I need to access my belongings while they are in storage?
You can schedule access to your mobile storage unit by contacting our
customer service department.
We require a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 24 hours notice. Your
container will be brought down to a ground level viewing area
where you will have ample time and privacy to access your unit.
There is no additional charge for this service.
How do the delivery charges work?
A roundtrip transportation fee is charged for each delivery and
pickup of your mobile storage unit. This cost will be
included in your quote.
How can I make a payment?
We accept Debit, Visa and MasterCard, post-dated cheques, money
orders and cash. Payment
is required prior to delivery and is prorated to the 1st
of the month. There is a one month minimum rental on all storage
units.
Is
there a minimum monthly rental. security deposit, or additional
fees?
There is a one month minimum rental on all storage units.
Where there is no credit card there is a one month
deposit required. A one time $10.00
Administration fee is due at move-in. Lastly a $15.00
security
deposit is required which is refundable on move-out providing the unit is left swept
out and empty.
Do you prorate?
We prorate at move out providing there has been a minimum
of the 1 month rental requirement honoured.
Are my belongings insured while they are in storage? Do you sell
insurance?
We do
not insure your goods while in storage. You would need to advise
your insurance company when you place your belongings into
storage. You will also need to purchase a content insurance
policy from your insurance company, as we do not sell
insurance.
Do I have to give
notice to vacate?
Prior notice is not required when vacating however you are required to
come to the office and sign out after the locker is completely empty and
swept out. Please note you must sign out at the office to qualify for a
refund of rent and security deposit.
